Help guide the youngest learners
As an early childhood educator, you will support children as they learn through play. Your role will be to create developmentally appropriate curriculum and to design inviting and effective quality learning environments. You will learn how to develop holistic programs that include early literacy and language, creative arts, numeracy, and open-ended play experiences both indoors and outdoors. Your responsibilities will include working alongside your colleagues to build relationships with children and families, community partners, and other professionals.
Parkland College offers the ECE program on a part-time basis at the Main Campus in Yorkton and at the Fort Qu’Appelle Campus.
The ECE program recently underwent some significant changes. Please consult the Saskatchewan Polytechnic program page and ECE Diploma Course equivalency chart.
Why Parkland College?
“I chose Parkland College because it was close to home and I could attend classes while I was working. The best thing about Parkland College is the small class sizes and awesome instructors.
I would recommend the College because it is a great place to learn and the staff and students are awesome to work with.”
