Fireman Boiler Operator Course
Learn the basic principles of design, operation, and maintenance of heating equipment used in buildings of moderate to large size. This course helps prepare you to write the Technical Safety Authority of Saskatchewan (TSASK) exam. Although there are no prerequisites, previous experience in maintenance, maintenance of heating systems (boilers), or plumbing would be an asset.
Career Opportunities
Gain employment in a variety of smaller industrial settings, heating plants, or building maintenance. These may include power plants, hospitals, schools, mines, breweries, fertilizer plants or chemical plants, based on the Fireman’s certification regulation.
