These courses are designed for all industrial workers who work at heights or near fall hazards or use fall protection equipment. Training covers the topics of awareness and use of equipment.
Safety Training Calendar
Parkland College offers a full array of industry recognized safety training courses for individuals and businesses in East Central Saskatchewan and West Central Manitoba. The courses are delivered by certified trainers and meet or exceed Occupational Health and Safety Standards. We offer face to face and online options plus we can customize courses and deliver them on-site to meet the needs of businesses.

COVID-19 Update
Parkland College remains committed to keeping our communities healthy, safe, and informed during this time. Parkland College continues to follow COVID-19 guidelines from both the province and the federal government. These guidelines are updated frequently in response to the rapidly evolving situation, and our approach in this situation will change as well.
For everyone’s protection, these are some of the many practices that are in place:
- masks are optional
- physical distancing
- increased frequency of cleaning using Health Canada approved cleaners
- hand sanitizer
- reducing touch points
- increased hand washing
- screening questionnaire
- asking students to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes to avoid loitering
- limited breaks
- asking anyone who is feeling unwell to stay home

Students are considered registered when:
Notice of cancellation must be received 3 business days prior to the course. |
Important Notes:
- On the first day of training registration is at 8:00 a.m. and classes begin at 8:30 a.m.
- Yorkton Safety Classes are held at the Trades & Technology Centre at 273 Dracup Ave North.
- Parkland College continues to follow COVID-19 guidelines from both the province and the federal government
- For everyone’s protection, these are some of the many practices that are still in place: Cleaning & Disinfecting, Hand Sanitizer, Hand Washing, Asking anyone who is feeling unwell to stay home.
- *Effective July 19, Masks are optional at all campus and training locations. Masks will continue to be available at campus Reception. Please respect the choices of others.
- *Physical distancing is no longer required, please allow comfortable spacing & avoid overcrowding.
